Manuscript Submission Guidelines

General Requirements

  • Manuscripts must be original based on the Abstract shortlisted and selected in the stage one selection process.
  • Submissions should align with the conference theme and sub-themes as announced.
  • Papers must be written in clear English.
  • Authors are responsible for ensuring accuracy, grammar, and referencing.

Formatting Guidelines

  • File Format: Microsoft Word (.docx)
  • Font: Times New Roman, size 12
  • Spacing: 1.5 line spacing
  • Margins: 1 inch (2.54 cm) on all sides
  • Alignment: Unjustified
  • Length: 4500–5000 words
  • Referencing Style: APA 7th edition
  • Language: English (British English preferred)

Structure of Manuscript

    1. Title Page
  • Title of the paper (bold, 14 pt, centered)
  • Author(s) full name(s), institutional affiliation(s), and email(s)
  • Corresponding author clearly indicated
  • ORCID number of authors/co-authors

    2. Abstract (150–200 words)
  • Concise summary of background & context, objectives, methods & methodology, key findings, and implications
  • 3–5 keywords (list separated by a comma for each word)

    3. Main Text
  • Introduction (objectives, background, significance)
  • Literature Review
  • Methodology
  • Results/Findings
  • Discussion and Implications
  • Conclusion and Recommendations

    4. Tables and Figures
  • Numbered consecutively (e.g., Table 1, Figure 1)
  • Tables and figures are inserted within the text, not at the end

    5. References
  • Must follow APA 7th edition style strictly

Submission Process

  • Manuscripts should be submitted electronically via conference submission portal Full Paper Submission Portal
  • Each file must be named as: FirstAuthor_LastName_PaperTitle.docx

Review Process

  • Submissions will undergo double-blind peer review.
  • Authors should not include identifying information in the manuscript body (only on the title page).
  • Review outcomes: Accept as is/Accept with revisions/Revise and resubmit/Reject.

Important Dates

  • Full Paper Submission Deadline: 1st October 2025
  • Notification of Acceptance: 10th October 2025
  • Revised Paper Submission: 16th October 2025
  • Conference Dates: [3rd – 5th December, 2025]

  • Selected high-quality papers will be considered for publication in:
    - Special Issue of Conference Proceedings in the Bhutan Journal of Research and Development, a blind-peer reviewed journal
